15 Thanksgiving salad recipes that will turn a ho-hum holiday menu into a festive feast. These fall salads are so gorgeously tempting they might just outshine the bird!
One of the things I took away from my 30 years living in Southern California was a respect for a great salad. Californians wouldn’t dream about drafting a holiday menu (or any menu for that matter) without a big old gorgeous salad at the center of it all. A fabulous fall salad can refresh the traditional Thanksgiving lineup and keep it from feeling too heavy. Here are some amazing Thanksgiving salads to consider this year…
Kale and Fall Fruit Salad with Cider Poppy Seed Dressing
Pear Salad with Creamy Walnut Vinaigrette
Wheat Berry Salad with Beets and Feta
Fennel and Citrus Salad with Fennel Vinaigrette
Apple Salad with Celery and Walnuts
Rainbow Chard Salad
Beet and Wild Rice Salad with Spiced Pecans
Wild Rice with Watercress and Hazelnuts
Roasted Apple and Radicchio Salad
Peach and Cashew Biryani Salad
Harvest Wild Rice Salad
Rye and Carrot Salad
Kale and Butternut Salad with Maple Spiced Pecans
Vibrant Winter Slaw with Citrus Vinaigrette
Green Goddess Wedge Salad

Please which is the salad at the top header with beets and winter squash? The only recipe with that looks more chopped—is it the same?
