So today I checked the model number on the actual AirPods and it says A2032 but when I checked the model number of the AirPods through my phone, its says A2031. Why is this ? I’m curious

A2032 and A2031 are the model numbers for the 2nd gen Airpods.

Each side, gets its own model number. A2032 for the left Airpod, and A2031 for the right Airpod.

What it shows in Settings, may be dependent on what Airpod paired first.
