Single Room Systems

These wiring guides cover most of our standard speaker systems (excluding Lithe Audio). All of our systems come complete with all wiring required (unless otherwise stated).

One Speaker System

Wiring Requirements

  • Choose a location for the amplifier.
  • Power the amplifier from the included power supply.
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the amplifier to the single stereo ceiling speaker (four cores in total).
  • Connect one cable to the amplifiers left output and one to the right, then connect both cables to the two separate connections on the ceiling speaker keeping red to red and black to black.
  • If you have a radio unit then you will need to install the aerial cable from the amplifier unit

Ideal For:Smaller rooms such as bedrooms, bathrooms and small kitchens
Plays In:Stereo

This wiring guide is suitable for the Systemline E100, Systemline E50, K&B Audio Bluetooth Express, Keene KLAB20DBwhen used with a single stereo ceiling speaker.

Two Speaker System

Wiring Requirements

  • Choose a location for the amplifier.
  • Power the amplifier from the included power supply.
  • Wire a 2 core speaker cable from the amplifier to the left ceiling speaker and from the amplifier to the right ceiling speaker.
  • Connect the left speaker cable to the left output on the amplifier, and the right speaker cable to the right output on the amplifier.
  • If you have a radio unit then you will need to install the aerial cable from the amplifier unit

Ideal For:Larger rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms etc.
Plays In:Stereo

This wiring guide is suitable for the Systemline E100, Systemline E50, K&B Audio Bluetooth Express, Keene KLAB20DB when used with a pair of mono ceiling speakers.

Four Speaker System

Wiring Requirements

  • Choose a location for the amplifier.
  • Power the amplifier from the included power supply.
  • Wire a 2 core speaker cable from the amplifier to the first left ceiling speaker and another from the amplifier to the first right ceiling speaker.
  • Wire a 2 core speaker cable from the first left ceiling speaker to the second left ceiling speaker
  • Wire a 2 core speaker cable from the first right ceiling speaker to the second right ceiling speaker.
  • Connect one cable to the amplifiers left output and one to the right and connect to the corresponding first left and right ceiling speakers.
  • If you have a radio unit then you will need to install the aerial cable from the amplifier unit

Ideal For:Large open plan areas, kitchen & dining rooms etc.
Plays In:Stereo or Mono (when used with Systemline E50 or Bluetooth Express

This wiring guide is suitable for the Systemline E100, Systemline E50, K&B Audio Bluetooth Express, Keene KLAB20DBwhen used with four mono ceiling speakers.

Split Room Systems

With the use of our wall mounted A/B speaker selection switch you can easily create a split room scenario allowing you to enjoy music in up to two adjacent rooms at the same time.

Four Speaker System Including A/B Wall Switch

Wiring Requirements

  • Choose a location for the amplifier and another location for the wall mounted selector switch. This does not have to be the same place.
  • Power the amplifier from the included power supply.
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the amplifier to the wall mounted speaker selector switch.
  • Connect one cable to the amplifiers left output and one to the right, then connect both cables to the AMP inputs on the selector switch keeping + to + and - to -
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the speaker selector switch to the first pair of ceiling speakers
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the speaker selector switch to the second pair of ceiling speakers
  • Connect cables in the selector switch using + to red and - to black on the ceiling speakers
  • If you have a radio unit then you will need to install the aerial cable from the amplifier unit

You can replace one or both pairs of mono ceiling speakers for a single stereo ceiling speaker wired in the same way with the exception of both speaker cables going to one physical ceiling speaker location (4 cores).

Ideal For:Split rooms such as kitchen and dining room or bedroom and en-suite

This wiring guide is suitable for the Systemline E100, Systemline E50, K&B Audio Bluetooth Express, Keene KLAB20DB when used with two pairs of speakers and a wall mounted speaker selector switch.

Two Speakers + One Speaker Including A/B Wall Switch

Wiring Requirements

  • Choose a location for the amplifier and another location for the wall mounted selector switch. This does not have to be the same place.
  • Power the amplifier from the included power supply.
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the amplifier to the wall mounted speaker selector switch.
  • Connect one cable to the amplifiers left output and one to the right, then connect both cables to the AMP inputs on the selector switch keeping + to + and - to -
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the speaker selector switch to the first pair of ceiling speakers
  • Wire two x 2 core speaker cables from the speaker selector switch to the single stereo ceiling speaker
  • Connect cables in the selector switch using + to red and - to black on the ceiling speakers
  • If you have a radio unit then you will need to install the aerial cable from the amplifier unit

Ideal For:Split rooms such as bedroom & en-suite.

The Lithe Audio speakers are super easy to install, but we've included the wiring diagram here to make things easier for you.

Lithe Audio Bluetooth Ceiling Speakers Wiring

Wiring Requirements

  • Mark & Cut A 210mm hole in your ceiling
  • Plug in the ceiling speaker via the included laptop style power supply, the supply needs to be permanently on and can be fed from the socket circuit (ring final) or from the lighting circuit.
  • Pair your phone & enjoy your music.

Ideal For:Smaller Rooms
Plays In:Single Speaker = Mono, Pair Of Speakers = Mono or Stereo Selectable
