Perhaps rolls won't fall with correct yeast to water mix (2 TABLESPOONS, NOT teaspoons of warm water.). Salt? I mix it into flour before adding yeast mix.

I am so very sorry that your rolls deflated. I have never had that happen and maybe, you brushed too much egg wash on. I always glaze sparingly and I use a bristle pastry brush not a silicone one. Again, I am sorry you had this unfortunate experience.

The egg glaze caused them to deflate instantly and ruined them.
I've never glazed before and I won't again because these were lovely until that point.

I loved these right up until I put the egg glaze on, when they collapsed and were ruined.
Next time I'll just slash them and bake them.
Very disappointing after hours of effort.
