It’s so simple and easy to make, Peach Iced Tea Recipe made with real peaches and only three ingredients!
How to Make Peach Iced Tea
I first came across Iced Tea was when I visited the Southern USA for vacation several years ago (I’m a Brit) long before me moved here to live. Mr Noshtastic was offered ‘tea’ in a home we were visiting and was a little taken aback when it came in a glass with ice instead of hot in a cup.
It was even funnier (to me at least) when he tasted it and nearly gagged because it was as sweet as syrup.
My peach iced tea recipe is really easy to make and works best with fresh, in season peaches. I make a simple sugar syrup with the peaches and then add that to the tea mixture.
Not sure if you would get the same flavor from frozen peaches but it might be worth a try. The peach syrup will keep several days in the fridge, this amount only make about four 8oz glasses of Peach Iced Tea
If you’re looking for more thirst quenching ideas for summer then what about some Homemade Strawberry Lemonade, or maybe you could try these Blackberry Lemon Tea Pops from Homemade and Yummy.

Ingredients
- 3ripe peaches
- 1cupof sugar, 200g
- 250mls water
- 2-3tea bags, depends on type and strength
Instructions
Wash the peaches and cup them up into small pieces.
Put them in a pan with the water and sugar and simmer for five minutes, or until soft.
Use a potato masher to smush them down some more, then cook on a low simmer for ten more minutes.
Remove from the heat and let sit for 30 minutes or so, then put the whole mixture in a blender or food processor and whiz it all up!
Run the mixture through a sieve to get all the skin out, then you are left with your peach syrup.
Make a quart/1 litre of regular tea.
If you make sweet tea then it will be very sweet when you add the peach syrup, but it's really up to you!
Add the syrup to your individual glass of cooled tea and stir well.
Will make 2 - 4 8oz glasses depending on how much syrup you add.

What happens if you decrease the amount of sugar? I love peach tea but trying to cut back on sugar consumption?

I love tea and have a dozen types on hand at all times. But adding fruit syrup to iced tea has never occurred to me. And fresh peach syrup? Wow! Can’t wait to try this when peach season hits this summer.Reply

I love sweet tea, of course being from the south…. and when you add peach to it … it’s the best. But I have never seen a recipe with fresh peaches and I absolutely LOVE the idea. THANKS! Pinning for sure.

I agree that fresh peaches always make a dish or drink better, but this tea looks so refreshing and tasty that I would definitely go either route! I haven’t had a good tea in awhile, time for me to make this!

My inlaws are from out south (Tennessee & Alabama) and they sure love their cold tea. My mother-in-law is out visiting next weekend and your peach tea will surely make her happy (we want happy mother-in-laws, right). Beautiful tea – thanks for sharing! 🙂

This looks amazing! Being a born and raised southern girl, I’m totally familiar with tea flavored syrup! 🙂 I grew up on it, but we never ventured far from basic black tea with lots of sugar. I don’t know why the flavored teas never made it to our table.
But then, about a decade ago, I fell in love with hot tea. So now, I prefer the across the ocean variety! 🙂
I’ve pinned and THIS will be on my table this summer when the fresh peaches arrive! Thanks for sharing.Reply
