This project has been an incredible learning experience, and I’m eager to see how it can bring people together for seamless communication.🔧 Technologies Used:Frontend: Built with React.js, providing a dynamic and responsive user interface. The styling is handled with CSS to ensure a clean and user-friendly design.Backend: Powered by Node.js and Express.js for efficient server-side operations. Real-time communication is facilitated through Socket.io, enabling instant message delivery.Hosting: The frontend is hosted on Vercel for fast, scalable, and reliable deployment. The backend is hosted on Render, ensuring robust performance and uptime.🌟 Key Features:Real-Time Messaging: Send and receive messages instantly, ensuring smooth and immediate communication.User-Friendly Interface: A clean and intuitive UI that makes chatting effortless.Dark Mode: Switch between light and dark modes for a comfortable chatting experience in any environment.Room-Based Chats: Join specific rooms to keep your conversations organized and relevant.🛠️ How It Works:Join a Room: Enter a room name to join a chat room. This keeps your conversations organized. Multiple users can join one chat room. Their messages will be visible to only others in the same chat room. To test it, you can open two separate tabs in your browser and log in as two separate users.Start Chatting: Type your message and hit send or press the 'Enter' key. It was my first time working with a separate 'back' and 'front', and it was a learning experience, but at the same time less scary than I expected. The site allows users to create, edit, read, and delete posts. Why is this website so near to my heart? Let me tell you a story:About six months ago, I started a remote internship after completing a course in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for responsive web design. Feeling confident in my skills, I tackled the first task with ease. However, the second task—building a blog website—stumped me. My skills weren't quite there yet, and I felt devastated. I questioned my abilities and felt like a failure, especially seeing my coursemates successfully create more complex projects.This experience taught me the importance of patience and persistence. Completing this blog website is a significant personal milestone for me. To anyone reading this and feeling less than, just hang in there. Rome wasn't built in a day, and one day you too will get there.
