The Bull Sharks had an outstanding meet against Archie Williams on Friday.Not only did the sun come out for this meet but so did our first student volunteers of the year, thank you to Chanpisey and Paloma for all their support!We had an extra special start to the meet featuring Branson's Cece Brenner who beautifully performed "The Star Spangled Banner", brava Cece!
Branson started the meet strong taking 1st in the Women's 200 Medley Relay and also setting a season best time! Congrats to Ella Garrett, McKenzie Kwei, Ashley Perez and Maeve McAuley on a strong relay swim!The ladies continued their strong performances in the individual events with Ashley taking 1st in the 200 Individual Medley and McKenzie and Maeve taking 1st and 2nd respectively in the 50 Free.Tara Sridharan crushed 2nd place in the 100 Free and McKenzie placed 1st in the 500 Free. Ashley also won the 100 Breast and recorded her best time of the season so far in that event!Also present at the meet swimming hard and cheering on their teammates were:Willa Riedy, Elisa Rodrguez, Elena Higgins and Sadhbh Kilroy.
As for the male Bull Sharks, represented by just Cameron Aryanpour and Nate Johnson, we held our own!Both swimmers bettered their times and hit the Top 5 list with many of their swims.Congrats to Cameron for winning the 100 Free!
